The meeting was held to allow the public to comment on the several options presented by the architects. The meeting was attended by about 30 residents.
Most people seemed to be in favor of a scaled down option without building a roof top deck or indoor walking track. Once again parking came up and it was about 50-50 for and against. The biggest issue was about providing parking for seniors and/or disabled residents.
Many felt that it was not necessary to do a lot of changes to outside space as we have the beach and Riley Park.
Mayor Fox reiterated that we need to present a plan to get a cost. One other factor brought up was the cost per household if we bond the project for 20 or 30 years. It would most likely be less than $15 per month added to our tax bill.
